SKG stands for Foundation Quality Gevelbouw. This independent inspection institute was established to inspect and certify the burglary safety of hinges and locks. Products are tested by this organization according to a clear guideline for the degree of quality and burglar resistance. If the product is tested positively on several levels, it will be qualified with a number of stars.
The number of stars is awarded based on the delay it causes the burglar to gain entry. So the higher the number of stars, the longer it takes to open the cylinder without a key.

When purchasing new door fittings, it is very important to choose security fittings with core pulling protection.
