(Dis)assembling a cylinder is particularly easy. You only need a Phillips head and possibly a flat-head screwdriver.
Step 1: Unscrew the fitting on the inside of the door to create some space. Step 2: On the front side of the door you will find a screw at the height of the cylinder. Remove the screw completely from the door. The other screws can remain in place. Step 3: Now insert the key into the cylinder and move it slightly to the left or right. If all goes well, you will feel the cylinder release and pull it towards you. The cylinder will not release? Then you probably need to loosen the door fitting a little, you can also try it on the other side of the door.
Installing a cylinder lock
Installing the new cylinder is done in the reverse order of dismantling. Pay attention to the location of the screw hole. To install a cylinder lock you will need a Phillips head and possibly a flat screwdriver.
Step 1: Disassemble the old cylinder and place the new lock in the hole. Adjust the keyhole if necessary. Step 2: Tighten the supplied screw into the cylinder via the front plate. Step 3: Now insert the key into the cylinder and check whether the lock opens and closes.
