This way you can replace the loose door cylinder yourself

Loosen the screws on the inside of the door one turn. This gives the cylinder some space. Then completely unscrew the screw on the front side of the door at the cylinder. You need the key to remove the cylinder, otherwise the driver will continue to block the removal of the cylinder. Simply remove the cylinder by turning the key slightly and pulling it out and replace it with a new one of the same size.

Do you have a cylinder lock with a fixed cylinder? Then the entire cylinder lock must be replaced. You will not find these locks in the webshop, but we can supply these locks if you need them.

Step 1: Remove screws from the front and inside of the door and pull out the lock.


Step 2: Replace the cylinder lock with a similar product and place it in the door. Sometimes a new lock has a different size. Then cut away the excess wood. Unsure about the correct sizing? This is how you measure the cylinder.


Step 3: check whether the cylinder lock fits in the lock socket in the frame. If not, replace the lock cup as well.
